Starting a renovation project with SB: the process

Have you been thinking about renovating your kitchen for a long time, but don't know where to start? The renovation process can be stressful, but our team is here to help you through the process. If you have dreamed of working with us, but have questions about how our services work for a home improvement project, this blog post is for you! We will explain the outline of our processes and how to prepare you to start a project with our team soon.
PRELIMINARY MEETING
When you have completed your project request form , you will receive an email from our team with some initial information depending on your type of project and the next availability for a preliminary meeting with our team. Once your meeting is planned, you will have a few things to prepare for it:
A Pinterest board, or inspirational images
An approximate budget allocated to the project (it is necessary to continue)
A list of your essentials for your new space (what you hope / want or hate)
* This step is very important, take your time to compile everything since each information will allow us to develop the right creative direction within your budget.
During the preliminary meeting, we will discuss your requests, needs, vision and proceed with the complete measurement of the workpieces.
You will then receive a service offer tailored to your project within 48 hours!
DESIGN CONCEPT (3-6 weeks)
Once you've approved the offer, the process of designing your dream space begins! Our team works to develop an ergonomic and functional floor plan. We take into consideration every element discussed during our meeting by applying the standards to create a space created to measure for you!
A project requires careful attention to all the small details and the budget is carefully distributed so that your space is designer with all the potential available.
We mention an approximate delay of 3 weeks for a single part, increasing depending on the nature of the project. Once everything is finished, we collect your plans, elevations, shopping list as well as all the samples necessary to make a realistic presentation that meets your expectations!

PRESENTATION
Our team has finalized all the details of your project and is ready to present to you! In this presentation we will review the following;
Floor plans
Elevations
Sample finishes
Moodboard
Concept tables
* 2 hours of revisions are included when taking our full service project, so please feel free to communicate with us openly! It will be our pleasure to make the necessary adjustments to make your project!
Once all the plans and the products have been confirmed, we are starting to process the orders and provide you with their lead times. We like to make sure all products are received and inspected before the contractor begins work to ensure that the renovation process goes as smoothly as possible.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Site visits
Once the contractor is chosen, we exchange an approximate timeline schedule for the key points of your project. Being on the site with it allows us to make last minute decisions or adapt certain situations as needed while keeping the functional but aesthetic side of the project intact.
Demolition (to ensure that everything can be done according to plans)
Draft / Electrical / Plumbing (to ensure measurements are correct and placed as shown on plan)
Ceramic installation (To ensure that the direction of the tiles and the grout are respected)
Installation of cabinets and furniture (Ensure that all furniture is custom made and free of defects)
Installation of counters
Finishing procedure (make sure everything is on the right track and if necessary mention some modifications while the team is still there)
During this period, we are in direct contact with the contractor to answer any questions or resolve any problem that may arise during key phases of the project. Hiring us allows you to rest easy and to have a team of experts who will take care of your project from conception to final realization!
STYLING
Once your space is finished, we organize a styling session during which we decorate with items selected especially for you and for your project. We bring lots of accessories to really create the final look of your design and the best part is you can buy whatever you see!
It is often during this session that we take pictures.
